The Electrical Engineering Department offers an M. Tech programme in Control Systems Engineering.
The power of the Control Systems Engineering discipline applies control theory to design systems with desired behaviors. The discipline has an essential role in a wide range of control systems, from simple household appliances to high-performance F-16 fighter aircraft. Complex processes require advanced control systems. This course focuses on advanced regulating systems used in industry, such as optimal and robust control methodologies and devices and multi-variable non-linear control techniques.

The Control Systems research group is the co-ordinator of the M. Tech programme in Control Systems Engineering.
The subjects covered in this M. Tech programme are as follows: Linear Control Theory, Estimation of Signals and Systems, Optimal Control, Non-linear Control, Digital Control, Process Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis, Industrial Automation and Control, Real-time Embedded Systems, Embedded Control and Software, etc.
